Just got the 92.0beta update (MacOS 10.14.6) and maybe for the first time ever, I really dislike the look and feel. The pane that shows message previews is not dense enough (about half my screen and only 11 emails show up, gmail browser client has more like 15 in the same space. Also, the typeface is pretty but also pretty hard to read, compared to whatever was here before. I would expect View -> Density -> Compact to let me squeeze more messages in, but right now there is a lot of blank space above and below the text and the density menu doesn't seem to affect this. I will most likely download the older release to avoid this. Is there a straightforward way to customize typeface and message density?

That doesn't look right. Try starting in troubleshooting mode? What are your results?

Thanks Wayne Mery! It looks like this was caused by some kind of theme add-on that I had installed, and troubleshooting mode/ disabling this add-on restored an acceptable appearance! I really appreciate it and sorry for not starting with that.
