after following directions, Mail Merge says "no recipients specified" and developer's email is NOT on download page.

Downloaded Thunderbird and Mail Merge add-on to use on my Mac with Mac Mail. Using a CSV file. The first time I merged, all was good, but there were typos in the message. I corrected them so I could send again. That was 12 hours ago. Since then, every time I try to Mail Merge, I get an error message saying "No recipients specified."

Tried to email developer as his email was supposed to be on the MM download page, but it is not there. THis version updated June, 2017. Below are what the error messages say, as uploading a screen shot doesnt work either:

"Unable to save your message for sending later. No recipients were specified. Please enter a recipient or newsgroup in the addressing area."

I did have recipients indicated as {{email}} from the CSV file.

Have you tried sending from the menu? Look under File....

I don't think you need to contact the developer, but his email address is given under Developer's Comments on the amo webpage.
