Full Screen Videos leaving desktop Menubar space

Hello

If I put a video into full screen mode there is space left at the top of my screen where the desktop menu bar would normally go. I've looked everywhere for solutions but can't find anything that works.

Attached is a screengrab of what I mean, the black space being a video trying to play full screen.

Just to clarify, is this Firefox on an iPhone or iPad or is it Firefox on a desktop or laptop computer?
