how the **** do I turn off the home page notification?
every time I open my home page there's a ******* notification hint at the bottom. I did not ask for this and do not want it and there does not seem to be any way to turn it off. how do I turn it off?

Hi
If you type
about:config
into the address bar, then search for
browser.snippet.enabled
you should see an entry that you can toggle to disable these messages.
