The verisign is green when I go to sign in..but as soon as I start to type, it greys out. Does this mean Ebay site is unsafe? It works fine with Paypal.

Please see this. You can try to determine the encryption status of the page by clicking the icon on the left edge of the location (address) bar, and also click More Information.

Just now tried to log in and the thing is green. It's not worked for at least the last 3 days, so no idea what is going on. I'll be back if it happens again...and thanks for your time!
