Why when I click on search results on Yahoo they do not open the links?
When I use Yahoo.com's search engine and the results page appears, I am unable to visit any of those page results.
When I click on the links offered on the results page, they do not open.
Only if I use Yahoo.ca to do a search, then I am able to open the links on the results page.
In explorer it works fine, just not in FireFox.

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs. You need to use all programs because each detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.
