I recommend that you try the new Firefox Preview browser where you can set the toolbar to be at the bottom of the screen.

There were some bugs in firefox preview like(there is no downloads page and syncing across devices)

It is best to use firefox android instead of preview so implement this feature in firefox android

Our development effort is currently focussed on Firefox Preview.

Firefox Preview does support Firefox Sync (I have been using it myself for some time) and while there is separate downloads menu, you can still see your downloaded files in the downloads folder on your Android device.
