Tooltips are normally attached to a link or button, so selecting the item it originates from should give a clue what selector to use. If this is a special panel e.g. from an extension then this can be quite difficult. for some case you can use the option to keep a drop-down pop-up open (look under the three-dot menu).

What tooltip(s) is this about ?

Can you attach a screenshot ?

Thanks for your reply. It works for popups but not tooltips. I find that pressing F8 to break the browser can prevent tooltips from disappearing.
