Running the latest Thunderbird on Windows 10. When downloading new messages or refreshing, the application freezes with the (Not Responding) error in the title bar for ~5 minutes before you can view the messages and work in Thunderbird again.

- There is no antivirus installed beside Windows Defender. - There is no excess of filters or folders. - Windows 10 was restarted in safe mode and so was Thunderbird with no results. - There is no delay when sending messages, only receiving.

The emails are pulled from a Google Suite account at UC Berkeley.

No. 5 suggests issues with the All Mail folder in gmail accounts. Does this apply to your case?
