Nightly is more for devs and testers due to frequent checkins.

The x86 Firefox 57.0.1 Release is at https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/android/all/ if not also on Google play.

Hi

Whilst I would recommend against it, you can turn off the automatic updates:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Select Advanced
  3. Toggle Automatic updates

I hope this helps. Please remember that your copy of Firefox for Android will not get important stability and security updates.
