I was viewing draft messages in the display window. I was tired and didn't have all my wits about me. I noticed a duplicate word and instead of hitting edit first, I highlighted it and hit delete. Poof—the whole draft email was gone. Where did it go? Is there a way to recover it?

Mine show up in trash folder

Thanks for the input Wayne. But no, it did now show up in any of my Trash folders, neither on my computer nor on the ISP's servers. I was hoping some Mozilla guru could tell me which cache folders I should look in.

Anyway, I did some poking around and found an earlier version in my ~/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/<name>.default/global-messages-db.sqlite folder. The last draft may still be there someplace but at this point I have enough to recreate it.
