After updating Thunderbird on April 9 emails are not longer receiving from GMAIL. I have verified account settings. I can login to gmail on the web using the same credentials used in TB. Any ideas? OS is OSX 10.10.5. TB version is 38.7.2. Also just tried the 45 version.

It should work if everything is configured right.
