The default Google search from the search box is set as google.com. This forces the location to be set as US. I would like to use google.co.nz instead so that my location is recognised as New Zealand. Tried using ABOUT: CONFIG to change the settings for "browser.search.defaulturl" and "keyword.url" to "google.co.nz" but this had no effect. How can I get this change implemented?

hello HairyScot, you could install a dedicated google nz search plugin: http://mycroftproject.com/search-engines.html?name=google.co.nz&category=12
