I have been trying to download a bank statement. The page opens, but all I get is the bicycle wheel going round and round forever. I can use Explorer and the page loads fully. So, is there some kind of add on I need for the Bank or is there another fix option. I have checked for viruses using four different programs and none exist.

Any help or fix is appreciated.

Hi cjmcd111, Thank you for your question, I understand that when you download your bank statements that the pdf format is not completing. There are other programs to view the pdfs, however you may need to change the default reader.

In order to change the default reader for PDF files (to not open PDF files with Firefox's internal PDF reader), follow these steps:

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu and click Options (Preferences for Linux and Mac).
  2. In the Options (Preferences for Linux and Mac) window, select the Applications panel.
  3. In the Search field, type PDF. You should find Portable Document Format (PDF).
  4. On the right hand side you should find an Action column. Use that to select your favorite PDF reader. In order to view PDF files in Firefox, choose Preview in Firefox.
