after the last update my new tabs open from behind, and when I close a tab it closes the browser.

Ever since the last update, when I go to open a new tab or window, it opens behind the current open window, and when I go to close a tab or window and click on the x up in the right hand corner, it completely closes all the windows and the browser.

check it in Safe Mode, in Safe Mode window select "Start in Safe Mode" and see if this happen again, if not see: Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
