Before I download various addons or plugins, I should know which version of Firefox I intent to be running--32- or 64-bit. I assume the version I just downloaded (6.0.2) is 32-bit. Do I need to uninstall current version?

Firefox 64 bit is not currently supported. Firefox 32 bit will work just fine :). Note that Mozilla does have plans to support a 64 bit Firefox in the near future!

Thanks--that's consistent with what I've seen at Firefox help. I was confused by Sun Java's explanation for checking browser (including Firefox) operating at 32- or 64-bit.
