Use CNN as homepage. Whe n I quit I want my history to be cleared.
Everytime I open CNN it asks me if I want to use US edition as default, which I do. How do I save this without saving history

- Such details are stored in a cookie.
- You need an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep that cookie, especially for secure websites and if you let cookies expire when Firefox closes
- Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
You can let all cookies expire if you exit Firefox.
With that setting you keep the cookies that have an allow exception.
- Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Keep until": "I close Firefox"
- Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Exceptions"
