That ain't a part of Firefox, which has one sound for the Quick Find bar. Sounds like a dose of Malware on your PC. Install, update, and run these programs in this order. Plus it has many security flaws. You need Java 1.6.0_15 or higher to get the Next Generation Plugin that Firefox 3.6+ versions need. 1.6.0_20 is the latest version of Java. Remove your current version and install the latest. http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp Make sure you read the download boxes carefully and de-select anything besides the basic Java program download, so you don't get a "surprise", like an un-asked for Toolbar or Search Bar.
