How to sort and view history by date in firefox? if we go to the history tab it automatically sorts by creating sections of , "today","yesterday" and then directly for "last 7 days" that too doesnt have the exact date. how can i exactly view the data of a particular date past yesterday?

Hi, if you are viewing history in the Library window (Ctrl+Shift+H), if you are looking for something specific, you can use the tiny search box at the upper right to find it. Then if you do not have the Most Recent Visit column displayed, you can add that by right-clicking an existing column heading (such as Name) as clicking it on the column list.

Now... you will notice that Firefox really means Most Recent Visit. Older visits are not listed. To see those, you need to use either an add-on or an external program that knows how to extract Firefox history. I haven't kept up with the add-on options, but I use the following external program to export out history when I need a record:
