Any way to change the default welcome page to acknowledge my payment?

I contribute monthly to Thunderbird, is there any way to disable the default page asking for donations?

Instead, you could just have a page that says thanks for a contribution (and a link to the page for managing it).

Or, I guess is there some way to edit that default page when launching Thunderbird?

Chosen solution

I do respect your desire for some acknowledgement, but that is a universal request page that is unaware of contributors. You can remove it from settings>general and untick the box at top to show the start page. Speaking for all of us, a BIG thank you for your continued support .

Got it - thanks for getting back to me, and it's not a huge deal just was wondering if it was possible.

Thanks also for the tip on unticking the box!
