Tunderbird makes no connection with any mail server. Does not ask for passwords, even when they were removed from store. Sending an e-mail results in: Verzenden van het bericht is mislukt. Try it with the VPN turned off, as they often interfere with the authentication process when connecting to mail servers. If your account was registered in Amsterdam but the VPN makes it look like you're in Moscow, that might be regarded with suspicion.
