Today I noticed that I can no longer log into my Firefox browser on iPad. No matter what process I use to evoke the login window, I never reach the point of entering credentials. Instead, the blank window times out and I'm served the error message, "Could not load page". I've deleted Firefox and reinstalled. This wiped out all of my bookmarks, but did not resolve the problem. I have a good internet connection. Any ideas?

Have you tried shutting the iPad off and turning it back on?

Yes, I have performed a reboot.

My iPad is IOS v10. I suspect recent browser upgrade incompatibility, although Mozilla has always offered excellent backward compatibility in the past.

I'm attaching two pics; the first is the blank login dialog window, the second is the error message it displays upon timing out.

I assume you can’t upgrade your iPad to 13.5. Install an older version of Firefox Explains how to reinstall a previous version.

OBW47,

Correct, my iPad does not support iOS above 10.3.4. Regarding older versions of Firefox, unless I'm misunderstanding something, older versions are executable only in a desktop environment. My problem exits on an iPad. That said, I'm not iOS native, so correct me if I'm wrong.

You are right. The page I referred you to is for desktop versions. Sorry for the confusion. Your problem is probably due to incompatible software versions. The current Firefox requires iOS 11.4 or higher. I reported the problem.
