Can I combine 3 inboxes from 3 different Identites?

I am new to Thunderbird. I have a gmail account, hotmail account and a scarlet.be account (identities). Each one is listed in the left column with an Inbox below each Identity. Is it possible that all my e-mails (from the three separate identities) go into One Combined Inbox?

If so, how can I do that?

Also, what is the difference between an Inbox, an All Mail fold and Local Folders?

Chosen solution

The built-in tool to provide this is View|Unified|Folders.

If you're using 52 and up, there is a new toolbar which helps switch between folder views. View|Toolbars|Folder Pane Toolbar.

All of this assumes you have the old-fashioned menu across the top. If you're using the later Application Menu button, [≡], click it and hover on Options to see the same feature.

If you're using POP for all three accounts (which is quite unlikely these days) then you can set all three accounts to use the Global Inbox under Local Folders.

Or you can arbitrarily put incoming messages into any folder by use of Message Filters.

It wasn't exactly the solution I was looking for, but it led me to it.

I am using version 52.1.0 (as I said I am a new user to Thunderbird). I then clicked on View/Folders/Unified.

It looks like I can then look at all Unread e-mails too.

I am liking Thunderbird more and more.

Thank you so much.

You're right; I got my bits in the wrong order.
