You need to create a new account with Sync only.

With all other Mozilla accounts, just access your user settings and edit what you need.

Hi, As you don't mention   'Sync':
You'll have to create a new   Firefox account;   your email-address is the primary  'identifier',  or  'username',   and you can't change it.
