When I look at McAfee's support article, it mentions going to Firefox's Add-ons page and enabling the extension: How to install SafeKey on a PC or Mac.

You can open the Add-ons page using either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, check both of these categories for it:

  • Recent Updates (if it exists)
  • Extensions

Often after enabling an extension a link will appear above it to restart Firefox. If you want to start using the extension immediately, you'll need to do that. Otherwise, it will be enabled the next time you exit Firefox and start it up again.

Any luck?
