Hello Folks,

I've been looking for this in Thunderbird Calendar, but I haven't been able to find it. It is a calendar view that is a variant of 7 day week. Other tools call it "Next 7 days". It shows Today as the day on the far left with the next 6 days on the calendar using the "Week" view format.

Does this exist in Thunderbird?

Greetings.

I am using Thunderbird 125.0 (32-bit) on a Windows 10 PC (Windows 10 Home Version 22H2).

Within its Calendar interface, the Find Events function has no option to search all events, as shown in the attached screen shot.

Although I do not use this "Search All" functionality frequently, I do consider it essential.

Unfortunately, I am uncertain when it became unavailable. However, I suspect it was sometime within the past several months.

After the update to 115.12.2 (64-bit) installed, I made a couple of changes to tasks and TB went sideways and crashed, and continued to crash upon startup every time I restarted, even after a reboot. So, I copied a backup of my AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird directory onto the TB AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird dir. Now TB starts, but I have only Mail and I see no way to get Calendar/Tasks back. How do I do that?

Yesterday I migrated Thunderbird from Supernova to Nebula. Using the Find Events button in Calendar, I used to see, by default, all events matching the search criteria (text, tags, read/unread etc.). In Nebula, the options for filtering the dates are very limited (see attached image). For example, I would like to be able to select the previous month (for expense claims) or the current of previous calendar year (for fiscal data) or the year to date. Or maybe a custom date range. Or, like in Supernova, everything. I never noticed any performance issue, so please bring back the Supernova default or at least provide some extra options.

I'd like to have a reminder automatically set when I import calendar entries with a .ics file. I have a default reminder set that works for new events, but it doesn't get applied for imported calendar events. Thanks.

On the calendar, on the screen I have Week View At the top are "all day" events, following by events in chronological order. Everything looks fine.

Printing and print preview are radically different from screen. In one case the print started with appointments after noon and all-day events were listed below. Morning appointments were not listed at all. In another with no all-day events all the appointments were listed twice.

"Print Preview" is before printer selection so I suspect the problem is not the printer. I tried changing the printer and it made no difference.

Also the "Print Layout" for "weekly planner" has font size of perhaps 4 points. I don't see how to change that.

No matter how many times I re-create the link, I cannot get my subscription calendars to either work at all or if they do they work very rarely. Forcing a sync doesn't help. I can see the same calendars just find online and in other calendars including but not limited to Mac OS Calendar.

I have a custom domain (me@mydomain.com) with email / contacts / calendar hosted by Google Workspace. I initially managed to add both the email and calendar account to Thunderbird but recently the calendar stopped syncing.

I tried to fix the problem by first removing the calendar account. This did not work because the 'Create New Calendar' -> 'On the Network' account wizard does not prompt me for the Google OAuth2 login page but just asks me for a password and fails. I tried to supply several 'Location:' URLs like gmail.com, calendar/accounts.google.com but none lead to the Google OAuth2 page.

Finally I removed the email account too and re-added it. During the new account setup workflow Thunderbird seems to look for calendars too but failed to find any...

How do I proceed? How are you supposed to set up a Google Calendar on a custom domain using the OAuth2 sign-in procedure?

I am using Thunderbird version 115.12.2 on Windows 10 and have set up about 36 different calendars. To tidy up a bit, I would like to hide all calendars AT ONCE and in the next step show each (separate) calendar INDIVIDUALLY. ONLY: HOW do I hide all calendars at once? Most of my calendar entries (events) generate a corresponding "blue dot" on the mini-calendar for the dates of those events. However, some events do not generate that blue dot for its respective date(s). In my case, I have an event that spans multiple days (NOT an "All day Event"--it's from 3:00 p.m. on 11 July through 4:00 p.m. on 13 July), but there is no blue dot on those days on the mini-calendar. (See image attached.) Other events set up the same way do have the blue dots. Is there something about how events are set up that might not generate the blue dot?

It does not matter on which client I add or change calendar entries then synchronize them (I can see on my Baikal dahboard, that the synchronization has succeeded!) the other thunderbird clients don't show the changes, even after explicite synchronization, only after unsubscribing and then new subscribing.

I am using TB Sync, but every time I try to add my Outlook Calendar ? It refuses to accept my Password, even though it is correct, and the User name and email are too ! It shows as error code 401, and cannot authenticate ?

I have tried a suggestion to create an 'App Password' to use in my Microsoft account, but the options described do not exist in my account !

The resulting calendar then works for one day but then disables itself and cannot be re-enabled (if I try to enable the calendar, it immediately disables itself again). I think this is happening because the calendar at the webcal link updates to a new file every day, so the specific link that Thunderbird resolves to becomes invalid on a daily basis. Other calendar applications that I use (like the iOS calendar app and the web interface for mailbox.org) do not resolve the link (they just leave it as webcal://github.com/othyn/go-calendar/releases/latest/download/gocal__community_day.ics) and they work fine, which is why I think the link resolution is causing the issue.

Is there a way to get this type of webcal link to work with Thunderbird?

This continues to be a problem in version 115.12.2. It seems to happen only with older events rather than current ones. Clicking the X closes the reminder but it pops up later. I tried changing the event to turn off reminders but that didn't work. It doesn't accept the change. The only permanent solution is to delete the event from the calendar. I see this problem goes back many versions. It's time to fix this.
