Hi I am currently unable to retrieve bookmarks and website passwords stored in your browser so please help me to retrieve them.

I found that my session activity on a secure (logged-in) website was being interfered with. I could not log-out of that website. After I closed Firefox, a notice appeared that an update was in progress. Why should a Firefox update interfere with an active session? Is this an updating issue that needs fixing?

When I used to take screenshots, they would be automatically named with the date, time, and part of the text captured regardless of language. A few days ago and with no reason I can discern, it now saves any non-English screenshots with something like this "Screenshot 2024-06-23 a[...].png" instead of "Screenshot 2024-06-22 at 08-02-28 Politics Policy Polit[...].png" (usual for English text and what I used to get with all languages).

Which means I have to manually rename screenshots. Does anyone know how I can fix this because I am working on a project with lots of screenshots for topics from different languages?

I was sitting playing on the computer, I go to firefox browser and go to zelenka.guru, I look, and I'm not in an account on this site for some reason. I decided to go to another site, but there is the same problem, as I realized - for some reason I got out of all accounts on all sites.

There was an update posted today. I ran the update this morning. Now Firefox will not open.

My laptop uses Window 11. On the web Bet365, I view live streams video by Picture in Picture mode of Firefox (hotkey: Ctrl+Shift+]) and see that the quality of video is very bad. I tested with Chrome and didn't see this issue. Is there any way to improve video quality of Firefox Picture in Picture mode?

YouTube has been so slow in Firefox. It just takes a ton of time for the video to actually play. It's just a spinning circle in a video. I can refresh several times and then it plays. I cleared my cache, history, data...etc everything from Firefox. That seemed to help for a bit. Then it just resulted back to being slow. It's just in Firefox. I played videos in Edge. It was fine. No issues. It's just FireFox. It started most recently too. It wasn't happening a week ago. I even tried going back to an old version of Firefox. Didn't help. Anyone know how to fix? Not using ad blockers either FYI. I just want videos to play normally and fast.

I just bought a new MacBook Air to replace a Windows 10 laptop which crashed about a week ago. I have my files backed up with Carbonite. I have found and downloaded a copy of my Firefox profile from Carbonite's website. I wanted to restore the profile to the new Mac computer. I have followed the instructions I found online to copy the specific files to the new profile. I finally got the bookmarks file to work, so my bookmarks are now transferred to the Mac. However, the passwords are still not showing up when I copy key4.db and logins.json to the new profile on the Mac. What can I do to get the passwords copied and restored to the Mac?

I do not know what version of Firefox I was running when the profile file was last backed up, but it was supposed to be running the current version when the laptop crashed last week. However, Carbonite shows the date of key4.db to be April of 2019 and the date of logins.json to be 10/8/2022. Should the files be newer? Would they be from an older version of Firefox that's not compatible with the current Mac version? I also just noticed that even though the bookmarks folder was dated 6/9/2024 in Carbonite, the restored bookmarks do not show some fairly recent bookmarks I added earlier this year. Is there any way to get my files back?

The Windows laptop that crashed is stuck in a loop and says it's trying to repair the hard drive. Is there a way to get it turned on but not booted up and connect it via a USB cable and transfer files to the Mac that way?

Hello all. Having updated Firefox a few days ago, we can no longer sign into Instagram. This happens only on Firefox, only since the last update, and Firefox is the same browser we have been using for years with Instagram. The problem is the cookie permission window for Instagram a) will not make a selection and b) will not disappear/close. We have attached a screenshot. There are no close tabs/buttons anywhere on this window, and we have looked the full length of the expanded window. As we have not changed any other setting, have not added any software, and this only happens on Firefox, we can only conclude that we have missed something which may have changed or been upgraded with your last update. This is quite urgent, as this is to manage the Instagram account of a wildlife conservation charity. So far we have tried reinstalling Firefox, clearing cookies, and deactivating/uninstalling all add-ons, however this has solved nothing. Could anyone suggest a solution please? Hello! I have the latest version of the Mozilla browser installed. The entire interface is installed in Russian. Mozila has a service for automatically translating website content into other languages. Unfortunately, the set of languages ​​does not include Russian, so that I could automatically translate information from sites, for example in Spanish, into Russian and read such information. In the settings I found a function to switch the language translation, but unfortunately there is no Russian language again. Please tell me how can I set up such a translation? Or is there no such service at all for the Russian language?

There is an issue with 3 extensions: 1. Briskine. 2. Simple Gmail notes. 3. Boomerang. This issue is taking place only when Briskine is active and only on Firefox.

When Briskine is active Simple Gmail notes does not display at all. Boomerang does not display correctly so there is no access to the full screen and options.

This only happens with Firefox, not with Chrome or Edge. Also, it is a know issue that's been going on for a while. I wish it could be fixed. Thank you Adam [removed phone# and email from public support forum]

For the past couple of days when I watch videos on YouTube on my iMac it's VERY slow to start. Sometimes it takes minutes, at which point I have to refresh, and best case it takes about 1 minute to start.

I have cleared the startup cache, cleared cookies and restarted Firefox.

Also, YouTube works normally on both Safari and Chrome.

Not a super 'tech' guy so any basic steps I can take are appreciated.

I deleted McAfee. I cleared the cache. When Firefox opens it opens to qowin.co.in

How do I fix this?

how are shortcuts created on my "new tab" home page in firefox browser. I used to be able to create the shortcuts I wanted, not random shortcuts that I might have visited once. Now shortcuts appear that I don't want. I know I can remove them by dismissing them but I should not get them in the first place. Please help.
