For more than a year I have used a member log in portal on the website for a club of which I am a member. Suddenly yesterday afternoon the log on button stopped working. With the pointer over the button there is a color change, but clicking on the button does nothing. I have tried form 2 computers, a cell phone and, to dismiss a network problem, tried form another computer on a different network and provider. I did discover that using another browser I am able to log in with out a problem.

I have tried restarting the computer, restarting firefox, clearing cookies and site data and clearing the cache. Nothing has changed.

Providing a meaningful answer would be a lot easier if you could possibly provide a link to the portal. I understand there might be reasons you cannot do that, but if you can, I could at least see if I can see the same problem you are experiencing and if so, possibly provide some information regarding the cause and maybe a solution. Thank you.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

The website is accessible by anyone however the member only section is secured by user name and password. It would not be proper to give that information out for security reasons. the website itself is: https://buffaloastronomy.com/. Under the members tab is a login that redirects to the login page which is working. After filling in the user name and password clicking on the button below the password should redirect to the members only area but does not.

Launching the Firefox safe mode did not solve the problem. Clicking the log in button after inputting credentials had the same results.

Also, launching firefox in safe mode (yes I know the difference between windows safe mode and firefox safe mode) had no effect on the problem. I even deleted the saved log in data and entered the user name and password manually to remove that as a possible source of the problem. It still does not work, but IE does. I have tried to contact another member who uses firefox and am waiting th hear back.

Thanks Rick

When I clicked on the login button under the members menu item, it brought up the login form.

I had to wait a few seconds for the login link to appear under the menu. The menu item is not linked to the login form, but the drop menu item is.

I was able to reach the login form by hovering over the Members menu item and waiting for a drop down that said login. Clicking on login brought up the login form. Clicking on members menu item did not.
