I foolishly installed this apparently malicious add-on. Firefox warning message reads "Saved Password Editor could not be verified for use in Firefox. Proceed with caution". It is now Disabled. There is an "Enable" choice but no option to remove, delete, or uninstall. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I run Ubuntu 15.10 Linux kernel 4.2.0-16-generic (i686)

Hi All,

I found the answer myself :-

Open Synaptic Package Manager Search for xul-ext-password-editor Mark for complete removal Apply changes

Advice - don't put it om in the first place!
