I have Firefox as my default browser. My anti virus says the web browser is out of date and I can't update Firefox as there are no update available. What is the solution?

I recently had a Dell Tech Specialist work on my computer. I apparently was having trouble with my current browser at the time, which was IE-7. The tech uninstalled it and downloaded Firefox. Computer works great but I cannot update the web browser as there are no updates available on Firefox. I have Norton as the antivirus program. Any suggestions on how to remedy this? I have windows XP

You are using Firefox 3.6.3 which is an old version, the current version is 3.6.13.

To update it either use the "Check for updates" option in the Help menu, or download and install the latest version from http://www.mozilla.com/
