I am running Windows 7, 64 Bit with Firefox Mozilla 3.6.12. Have problems downloading Videos (*.flv) and save them after Re-namimg the file before download starts. The Download simply hangs and Mozilla goes Unresponsive and does NOT do anything. I see that I have DownloadHelper and it has lots of Options in its context-sensitive Menu, but not the option like "Save Target As" while downloading from IE Browser. So, I thought I should try UNINSTALLING this DownloadHelper and see if it improves the links and options. But when I search for this, I do find one KB article that points me to Article http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_add-ons , but when I click on this link, it just hangs. I can use your help in solving this nagging problem.

Go to Tools|Add-ons. Click on extensions and look for "DownloadHelper in the list. On the right you should click on the <Uninstall> button. You'll need to restart FF.
