Messages are downloading extremely slow (and I do mean EXTREMELY SLOW) on my PC. Firefox is working great so I don't believe it's internet connection speed. I can send and receive messages through Thunderbird without issue on my cell phone so I don't believe it's the provider. I think it's version 45.5.1 but not at home so can't be certain, should be the latest version though.

Anyone have suggestions on what may be the cause?

It's working fine tonight. No idea what would have caused it to be so slow last night. Would still like for someone to reply if they have an answer.

A common cause are Virusprotection-programs and scans being performed on your mail-folders. Exclude your TB-profile from being scanned.
