Just updated to FF 35 and the plugin update checker says I need to update Adobe Reader but I don't need to. I have the most current version installed.. There has to be a bug in the update checker for FF35. Please review and advise. Thanks

You are actually using an old version, you are using reader version 10 when the most recent version is reader 11. You can download it from http://get.adobe.com/reader/

Thanks for your reply but since I have a Vista OS Adobe Reader 10.1.13 is the most current version I can use. AR is not available for Vista OS. If I run the FF update checker function it takes to AR 10.1.4 not AR 11. There is a bug in FF35.

Firefox 35.0 is not doing the blocking as it is due to the blocklist. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/blocked/

The 10.1.13 is not on blocklist as only the 10.1.5 and earlier is.

Adobe Reader 10.0 to 10.1.5.* has been blocked for your protection. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/blocked/p158 (Blocked on October 5, 2012)

There is Adobe Reader 11.0.10 though it seems like Adobe still provides 10.1.4 at http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/ yet newer 10.x versions are at http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=10&platform=Windows including the 10.1.13 which came out on Dec 9, 2014.

Again thanks for the reply. Since AR 10.1.13 is the most current up-to-date version for the Vista OS the update checker function should know this as it did in FF 34. I did not have this problem in FF 34. It correctly identified AR 10.1.13 as the most up-to-date current version. I, again, say that there is a bug in FF35 concerning this issue.
