Could one get the old menu back using a screen reader?

more options

I'm trying to help someone who apparently uses Firefox with a screen reader. He cannot access the menu anymore, I assume this has to do with the new(-ish) single-access menu button. Is there a way to get the old menu back using something like about:config? He cannot right-click the menu to select Menu Bar, because of the screen reader thing.
