Putting folders on bookmark toolbar

I just got a new Macbook Pro and it has Ventura on it. My last Mac had Catalina on it where I was able to make a folder in Firefox bookmarks and put it on the toolbar where I could see and access it at all times. Then when I wanted to add something to it, I could. It was so easy.

Now I made a folder and put a website in it, but it doesn't show up on the toolbar. I have to click on bookmarks, then bookmark toolbar in the dropdown list, then I can see the folder and the contents, but it's a process, not just there on the toolbar like before. Sorry, I'm not sure how to use the urls here.  I clicked on the "paper clip" but didn't know where to go from there.  Luckily I knew about Imgur.

The screenshot doesn't show the Bookmarks Toolbar. You can possibly toggle the Bookmarks Toolbar via "Command + Shift +B".

Make sure toolbars like the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible. Open the Customize page and set what toolbars (Show/Hide Toolbars) and toolbar items to display.

  • check that "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
  • if "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar, drag it back from the Customize palette to the Customize page to the Bookmarks Toolbar
  • if missing items are in the Customize palette, drag them back from the Customize page to the toolbar
  • if you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the Customize palette, click Restore Defaults in the Customize palette window to restore the default toolbar set.
