since a few days i noticed, that emails are missing on the screen. after web-research i used the repair-function for single folders. this works great ! all emails are visible ! but only for the moment !

switching to another folder and switching back to the "repaired" one ... the msf-file is as wrong as before ... one has to use the repair-function again ! and so on ... and so on ...

this has also influence on my virtual-folders : also in these not all emails are visible ... according to the lacking ones from the above mentioned wrong msf-files ...

concerned are not specific msf-files ... but from my present knowledge : all ones ! it looks to be an error in thunderbird ... or a problem with my pc-environment ... win 7 prof (automatically updated)

anyone knows where to search ... to solve this problem ?

sorry ! i understood the automatic email as part of an answer to my question ! obviously you only informed about deletion of my double-posted 2.question ...

to these automated email a text and two links are obviously automatically added about marking the question as solved ... or unsolved ... i misunderstood this and looked for an "solving" answer ...
