I have installed the latest version of Firefox and when i start firefox i get the error:

XML Parsing Error: undefined entity Location: chrome://browser/content/browser.xul Line Number 1530, Column 7: <label value="&charsetMenu.label;" class="panel-subview-header"/>

^

I have uninstalled and deleted the directory leftover and then reinstalled and that doesnt seem to solve it as mentioned in a previous help article.

When I do reinstall it, it works for a little while but then it goes back to the same thing. I looked at the addons when it did work and not sure which one could be doing the damage but I am unable to uninstall them to test. There are no extensions added as it was a clean install .Is this a problem with the latest version ?

The latest version of Firefox i downloaded was from the "Firefox Setup Stub 49.0.1.exe" file

I'm running Windows 7

thanks

Roneel

Hello Roneel, the re-install is a good option but now please try one more time from the next full installer link : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
