I have set my home page to my ISP provider Suddenlink (way too many ads), would I be better off using Mozilla/Firefox as my home page?

I am a very non-technical person. But even I can see that Mozilla/Firefox seems to be a BETTER HOME PAGE than Suddenlink! I hate the many, many ads on suddenlink.....and it's limited features compared to Moz/Fire.. I am not taking advantage of any of the features and benefits described in Mozilla/Firefox's web site. However, I am concerned about email service. I do NOT have Outlook. I have been using Suddenlink.net's very limited email service ever since I signed up with Suddenlink as my IP provider. If I switch my home page to Moz/Fire....what happens to my email service? Anything? Thanks for any help....for a non-techie!

Firefox uses an internal page about:home as the default Homepage.

If that suits your needs, by all means use it.

That won't affect your ability to use Suddenlink.net webmail services. Just save a bookmark for that webpage or the logon page for their webmail service.

And as far as advertisements on any and all webpages, you might consider using the AdBlock Plus extension.
