firefox 10.0.2 wont remember my site login details (for all sites)

Before I updated to firfox 10.0.2 everything was great now however the browser will not remember any of my site log in details I have enabled remember passwords for sites but I dont even get the box that says shall I remember the passwords for this site

Hi Matt-G,

SOLVED, in privacy settings I had NEVER REMEMBER HISTORY option enabled turned this off and everthing is fine. Makes me realise how dull I can be.

Hi martian,

Have you looked at the Usernames and passwords are not saved Knowledge Base article? It sounds like this is spot on for the issue you describe. There is a lot of useful information in the article.

Hi Matt-G,

Thanks for that so I looked and of no use I'm sorry, all the option listed I've tried although I've just turned OFF the tell sites I do not want to be tracked. Doesn't sound like it will work but it's all I've got left.

Hi Matt-G,

Just checked all my settings again and I've found that private browsing is turned ON so I pressed CTRL+SHIFT+P and I can't turn it off.
