Phony will not work

I have installed phony on my galaxy tab and it does not work. I have it set to firefox desk top and I still get directed to mobile sites. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling phony which did not help. Is there some other setting that I am overlooking or somthing? Thanks, Dave Roderick
