Although you're entitled your opinion, you're just plain wrong.

I must remember not to post things after coming home from the bars. I don't really remember my previous post. Though I have edited it and taken some of the venom out, I stand on my feeling that until there is a fix for the Shockwave Flash problem, it is sort of useless. Don't get me wrong, up until now I've always been a fan of Firefox, in fact I'm using 3.6 now.

Adobe has come out with Shockwave Flash 10.2.159.1 and there is no difference in the awful hang times for pages to render in Firefox 4. Back on v3.6xx

Firefox beginning with 4.0 can no longer be placed in any "Applications" sub folder, must be upper most "Applications" folder. Example; Applications ➢ Internet ➢ browsers ➢ Firefox 4.0.1.app, hangs. Applications ➢ Firefox 4.0.1.app, no apparent problem. If your Firefox 4.xx is in any other folder, drag it to "Applications" only. At least that seems to be the fix for me.

Please tell me how to configure this on my computer.

My solution deals with MAC computers. If your on windows I don't know if it will make a difference. You should already have a folder named Applications, that's how all computers come. When you look for a program or install a new one that is where it is automatically placed (usually). Many people including myself have created sub-folders within the Applications folder to consolidate and organize their applications. For example any apps that deal with art, graphics and/or photography would go in sub-folder Art; music, sound into the Audio folder and so on. If you have or have created any such sub-folders and Firefox 4.o / 4.0.1 is in any such folder just drag it out of that folder and leave it in the Applications folder. Most programs work fine residing is sub-folders but some don't and the newest version of Foxfire is now one of them.
