Losing saved logins/passwords.

I do not know what to do how to even report this properly.

Within a month, this is the 3rd time a saved login/password combo has just disappeared from firefox.

It's a tad alarming to say the least.

And no, I have not deleted them, they are just ... gone.

Is this about a login saved in the Firefox Password Manager ?

Are you using Sync as this could be a possible cause ? Is this the only data you lose ?

A login/pw combo saved with the built-in firefox function ( You can see these saved login/pw combos under the [top-right corner dash-dash-dash] / Passwords )

I'm not using sync or any other funny bugger, plain and pure local stored passwords.

I've gone back to my backup to restore the pw this time, as it was one I had nowhere else available. (I'm backing up the firefox profile nightly - again, locally, using Cobian )

So it was there (exists in the backup) and then it wasn't there. Really weird.
