i hate this "supernova" design is ugly as horseshit, modern versions are laggy and ugly, i want the good old 2013/2012 versions (thunderbird 24.0 to be exactly) i downloaded the version in third-party websites, the app started but when it asked for my e-mail it fails to authenticate or do verification

I don't disagree about the supernova thing, but the versions you are talking about are unsupported and in many cases simply do not work with the modern authentication required by some of the mail providers (including Google and Hotmail) so you are really not going to like your experience going forward even if you do manage to get it to work for you.
