Hi, I have setted the option to clean search and downloads history when I close firefox (I didn't set the option to clean cache), but it also cleans the cached icons in homepage, so when I open the browser all icons appear blank, till firefox manages to download all of them.

Any solution? I think this is a bug, but maybe someone has a workaround, I tried to use localy downloaded icons but it's forbidden.

thumbnails are stored in ***\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\***\thumbnails

You could also try clearing your cache and offline website data, but leave the "Offline Website Data" checkbox unchecked, since it can cause the loss of cached icons. To do this, go to Firefox's Options menu, select Privacy & Security, and under the Cookies and Site Data section, click on "Clear Data." Then uncheck the "Offline Website Data" checkbox and click on "Clear."

Another solution could be to use a bookmark manager extension that allows you to set custom icons for your bookmarks, so you don't have to rely on Firefox's cached icons. This way, even if the icons are cleared from Firefox's cache, the custom icons will still be displayed.
