Closing all windows, tabs without my permission
Whenever I receive a software update notice, the browser closes all open links even when I click on Do NOt Update. Today I was researching travel arrangement on a number of sites and all were suddenly closed forcing me to start over with hours of searches. Pissed me off. How do I stop this from happening? If I can't prevent this from happening, will need to cancel use of this browser. Too many disruptions.

Hi Bob, if you haven't already, go to the Settings page and tell Firefox you want to be notified about updates but not have them installed automatically. You can type update in the tiny search box near the top of the Settings page to bring that section into view quickly.
If you defer an update, you'll get one or two reminders per day.
