Is there a way to stop videos playing automatically on websites? This would be useful in several ways as i often listen to music or audiobooks from other apps whilst browsing and the videos which are never wanted cut off my other audio. Even when not listening to another audio source the sudden unexpected and unwanted noise is extremely annoying.

Click the menu button on the bottom of your screen. Once you're there, tap “Settings & Privacy,” then “Settings.” Scroll down until you find “Media and Contacts,” then tap “Videos and Photos.” Finally, once you find “Autoplay,” you can turn off the feature.

I am using Firefox on iPhone v97 and don't see these options. Menu button > Settings but then no S&P, or Media and Contacts. Where is the autoplay option now?

I am using iOS v. 15.3.1 on an iPhone XR, and Firefox Daylight v. 98.2. The Settings options I see are shown here. I don't see a "Media and Contacts" choice among them.

In fact, I also don't see a "Settings & Privacy" choice in the menu at all, only "Settings".

(I've used an external image site because support.mozilla.org doesn't seem able to upload the screenshot directly — the upload function hangs.)
