Less than useful solutions are to click on the menu button (don't have it) and to right click (single button mouse.)

How did this happen? How do I make sure it doesn't happen again?

Hi, if speaking of the Menu Bar yes can mouse to top of browser and Right Click to turn it on or go to Customize and mouse to the bottom of page and turn it on. Ver 61 brought to the Mac :

  • WebExtensions now run in their own process on MacOS
  • Share links from Firefox for MacOS more easily: You can now share the URL of an active tab from the page actions menu in the address bar

In General : The settings for customizing your homepage and new tab page in Firefox have been added to a new Preferences section that can be accessed from Firefox at about:preferences#home. The settings can also be accessed via the gear icon on the New Tab page. I would say if none of the above worked for you to turn on the Menu Bar your going to have to Refresh.

There is no need to shout. Customize --> mouse to bottom of window to Toolbars and Click and turn it on. Which was stated in the 2nd line in 1st post which has nothing to do with Right Clicks.
