I have seen various sources that seem to conflict about the support of Flash Player. Is it supported by Firefox 57 or not? At what version of Firefox is it supported?

Then you should remove YouTube Flash Add-Ons from this webpage. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire.../?platform=windows&q=flash

Nobody here maintains the separate addons.mozilla.org site. There is a forum to discuss A.M.O things at https://discourse.mozilla.org/c/add-ons as it is the Forum link on bottom of A.M.O pages.

Is this for the Android version of Firefox? If so support for Flash ended in Firefox version 56.

The desktop version of Firefox supports Flash.

Flash is supported for now. But in the future, it will no longer work on Firefox.

Thanks so much for your quick reply! I have some folks I am helping who may have issues caused by the Flash player. I will let them know this official response.

What about "YouTube Flash Player" Ad-on? It is still found on the Ad-Ons pages. Will its support remain?

I always try to redirect folks to use the native HTML 5 player but I know that there are those websites and providers that still stay with Flash. I always tell them to contact their provider and encourage them to change to HTML 5.

Youtube currently uses the HTML5 player. Any Youtube/flash add-ons will not work.

Also the knowledge base still has instructions for installing Flash Player (See Attached Image) There should be an official statement to update the positions you just stated and add that statement to the knowledge base.

Thanks!

Flash will still be important for the foreseeable future. If users are having problems with Flash sites in Firefox 56+, they should learn about the plugin notification icon. This article might help: Why do I have to click to activate plugins?

Good to know. Thanks! When I had it installed Flash would crash routinely. I always had it on click to activate. I am going to start to steer everyone to HTML5 otherwise we are going to keep getting complaints about poor performance. I know many pages still use Flash but they are dwindling. In the meantime I think we should encourage people to seek alternative pages. If they insist on using Flash then just warn them that performance may/will suffer. Just my 2 cents.
