Can't watch video after update to flash v24

more options

Howdy, I was getting errors from my having a very old version of flash installed, on a college related website. But everything else worked fine. So I updated to the latest v24 flash and now the errors are gone on that website. Everything is back to normal except for streaming video. If I go to a streaming video website that does not use html5 I get these errors - Could not load plugins: File not found

Are there any other codecs that you guys would suggest me to add? Is kaspersky known to cause issues with streaming video?

Win7 pro - media pack installed FF 50.1.0 flash v24

Do you see any error messages in the Web Console ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer) that give more details?

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?

I don't see any errors beyond a black box shown where the online player should be, which is - Could not load plugins: File not found This is why I thought it was a codec issue.

However today something changed and I can watch some video streams. I'm thinking that kaspersky is involved as it blocks any changes made to the browser. But this is where I was having some issues previously. fmovief dot net
