if you ask question and then choose a solution, will the thread be closed or can you still ask for further clarifications? (as sometimes, someone answers my question, and i want to mark it as the solution, and yet am not quite ready for the thread to be closed...)

If you are still having that problem, you can go back to that thread. But, you must turn off the Solved flag.

hi, threads will be closed 6 months after their creation. marking it at solved will not close the thread (but move it out of sight for issues needing particular attention by contributors).
